How far in advance should we book our musicians?
Once your date is confirmed, feel free to reach out to me by email at [email protected]. To secure your preferred date, especially during my busiest months (April, May, September, October), I recommend reaching out as early as possible.
Can the musicians perform outdoors?
Many of the most beautiful events I’ve been part of have been held outdoors. That said, because string instruments are sensitive to certain conditions, our musicians can only perform outside when the weather is dry and the temperature is above 55 degrees. Additionally, I require shade if there’s direct sunlight or rain. These measures ensure our instruments stay in optimal condition and deliver the best possible sound for your special day.
What about beach weddings?
I love beach weddings! We have specific instruments/musicians that we use for beach weddings, so we just need to plan accordingly. We only play beach weddings in full sunlight between September - April, otherwise please provide a covered space if getting married before 6 pm in May - August.
Will the musicians come to my wedding rehearsal the day before?
With years of experience performing at wedding ceremonies, we typically don’t need to attend the rehearsal. If you’d like the musicians to be present at the rehearsal, the same performance rates apply as for the ceremony itself. Most couples choose not to include musicians at the rehearsal, as it can significantly increase the overall cost of the event.
Do you play for events besides weddings?
I can provide music for a wide range of events, including showers, proposals, engagement parties, cocktail parties, birthday celebrations, corporate events, holiday gatherings, christenings, baby namings, memorial services, religious ceremonies, and more. Whatever the occasion, let's make it unforgettable!
My pricing is the same for all events, I don't have a wedding rate.

How do you know when to start and stop playing?
On your wedding day, we collaborate closely with your officiant and planner to ensure seamless coordination with every key moment of your ceremony. This allows us to provide the perfect musical accompaniment for your special day, making sure everything flows beautifully.
What if we would like a piece of music not on your repertoire list?
Absolutely, I can help with that! While I already have a wide range of pieces in my repertoire at rabinowitzmusic.notion.site, I have no problem trying to find new arrangements. As long as the piece isn’t too obscure, we can usually find an already published arrangement to accommodate your request, I'll just need at least 30 days’ notice.
Can we schedule a meeting to discuss my event?
Certainly! I’d be happy to connect via phone, video call, or in person at the studio. To ensure I can give you my full attention, I recommend scheduling a meeting in advance.
Please note that I have two preschool-aged children, so I’m rarely available for unscheduled calls except during weekday mornings when they’re at school. For all other times, let’s plan a meeting that works for both of us—this way, I can focus entirely on your event needs without interruptions.

What if I need to cancel my event?
I understand that plans can change, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. If you booked directly with me, please notify me at least 60 days in advance to cancel your event. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your date and compensates for the time reserved exclusively for your event.
If you cancel within 60 days of the event, the full balance will still be due. However, in exceptional circumstances, I’m happy to discuss rescheduling options if my availability allows.
If you booked me through a booking agency, please refer to their cancellation policy, as terms may vary.

Can I hire or choose other musicians to play with you?
I’m happy to collaborate with other professional musicians you’d like to hire or include, such as church music directors, pianists, or organists. Working with experienced musicians ensures a seamless and polished performance for your event.
If you’d like to include a non-professional musician (such as a friend or family member), additional rehearsal time may be required to ensure we’re fully prepared. Additional rehearsal time will be billed at my standard rate, so please let me know in advance if this is something you’d like to arrange.

How far will you travel?
I am available to travel up to 1 hour and 15 minutes from my studio at the standard rates. For locations up to 2 hours away, an additional $50 travel fee applies. Beyond 2 hours, an additional $50 will be charged for each additional hour of travel time.
I am more than happy to travel longer distances, with the client covering travel expenses such as accommodations and transportation.

Do you offer a discount or play for free at nonprofit events?
I am happy to donate my time as a soloist for nonprofit events when my schedule allows, particularly for organizations I personally support. However, I typically do not schedule nonprofit events on Fridays or Saturdays more than two weeks in advance. If I am unavailable, I also have talented students who frequently perform at events and may have more availability. I ask that you include the studio as a "sponsor" in your advertising materials when we perform for free or at a discount.
